Pratibha Foundation's AIDS Awareness Program involves a multi-pronged sequence of events and interventions including educational, social, and medical efforts to contain the spread of HIV/AIDS, especially in rural areas and within its pediatric group.
The number of people living with HIV/AIDS in India is an alarming 2.47 million, according to recent UN and US AID - backed government estimates, with an HIV infection prevalence level of around 0.36 per cent of the country's more than 1.1 billion population.
To educate people from different parts of society by raising awareness among students of schools, colleges, universities and also encourage these institutions to start a chapter on HIV/AIDS awareness program. Our aim is also to bring awareness among the youth and encourage other organizations in the respective in the world.
The goal of our AIDS awareness programm is to spread AIDS awareness and provide social empowerment for those who are infected by the disease in India. We need your support to help us reach this goal.
